With its inquisitive expression and beautifully detailed feathers, this sterling silver partridge is beautifully life-like. The model is crafted by British silversmiths Francis Howard, using the lost wax casting technique. This allows the silversmith to capture all those gorgeous details and textures, from the beady eyes to the scaly feet. Family-run Francis Howard has been crafting exquisite silverware since 1870. The company is still run by Howards to this day, from the Sheffield premises they acquired in 1873.
