A tiny hippo sounds like a contradiction in terms – but we’re delighted to introduce you to this adorable little silver chap by Saturno. He may be small, but he’s full of realistic details, like those characteristic curled ears and large nostrils. His body is painted with rich brown enamel, which contrasts with his sterling silver features and feet. Saturno’s figurines are made in Italy by skilled artisans. The cast pieces are hand polished, then individually painted. The painted pieces are then glazed and baked, creating those gorgeous colours.
